Make the "Pilgrimage" south to historic Plymouth. Explore on your own the many
historic sites along the waterfront and downtown. Docked just next to Plymouth Rock is a full-scale reproduction of the original ship, Mayflower II. Here you'll find Cranberry World Visitor's Center; a free exhibit that includes demonstrations and samples of their many cranberry products.
Climb Cole's Hill to visit the Plymouth National Wax Museum where 180 life-size figures tell the pilgrims' story. The breathtaking view of Plymouth Harbor and Gurnet Light should not be missed. From the waterfront take time to board the Splashdown Duck (1hr. land & sea tour) or the Pilgrim Belle, a 75 minute paddlewheel cruise. A full exciting day awaits you in the town of our forefathers.

Travel north from Boston to historic Marblehead, the birthplace of the American Navy. Visit Abbott Hall to see the original painting, "The Spirit of 76." In Salem, step back to 1692 and visit the Salem Witch Museum (admission not included).
Travel down Derby Street past Nathaniel Hawthorne's Custom House & the House of the Seven Gables. Time is allowed to stop at Pickering Wharf for Lunch and exploring. Whether it is witches or authors, museums or shopping, you will find it in Salem.

THE BATTLE TRAIL - Visit Harvard Yard, view Cambridge Common where Washington took control of the Continental Army; drive along "Tory Row," past the
home of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Follow the route of Paul Revere as he warned the countryside, "the British are coming!" Stand on Lexington Green, where Captain Jonathan Parker and 77 Minutemen stood their ground against 700 of England's finest regulars.
In Concord, journey past the homes of Hawthorne, Alcott and Emerson as you make your way to the Old North Bridge where "...the embattled farmers stood and fired the shot heard 'round the world."

This wretched creature is doomed to travel the streets of Boston and relay the stories of the unfortunate souls he encountered and the macabre events he had been witness to during his purgatory. Join other apprentice grave diggers on an adventure through the darker side of Boston, a scary, fun and informative frightseeing experience that is truly one of a kind.
Hear about Boston's most sinister characters - from the Angel of Death to the king of all killers - the Boston Strangler. Learn about all the haunts that call the "Hub" their home. But that's not all! Step inside two of the oldest burying grounds in Boston for a walking tour you will never forget. Learn the significance of much of the imagery found in these 17th century burial grounds and the famous and not so famous (but even more interesting) occupants therein.
Visit Copp's Hill Burying Ground in the North End, nestled atop the tallest point in one of Boston's oldest historic districts. Here you will visit the final resting place of Cotton Mather, a man famous for his "intimate" involvement with the Salem Witch Trials. Then to the Granary Burying Ground where you will visit the final resting places of many of the famous heroes of the American Revolution including John Hancock, Paul Revere and Samuel Adams.
Remember that half of the tour is walking, so comfortable shoes are recommended (so you don't become "dead" on your feet)!
